YTB/Zam Zuu Convention Tips

Just a thought here. If you are unable to afford to eat while at a business convention, perhaps you should not go.  I also wonder what the St. Louis CVB thinks of this advice?

Considering it is coming from a "travel" company, one might think that they would be cognizant of the fact local merchants that sell breakfast and lunch depend on the tourists and convention business for their survival.  But then again, as long at the $49.95 monthly check clears, full steam ahead.

Other tips in this update included carpooling, sharing hotel rooms, and of course sending your money into YTB.

3. Bring breakfast and lunch with you.
There are many area eateries that are affordable in downtown St. Louis, but they can take precious time with the crowd of Convention.  Plus, why leave the America’s Center for too long when there’s so much going on at the ZamZuu Convention!  Bring your Ganovia Instant Coffee, grab a breakfast bar, and get a jump on exploring everything there is in ZamZuu!  Plus, what’s better than a homemade PB & J for lunch?  (In fact, that’s what this author does and has done for the last 4 Conventions!)  There are quite a few places within walking distance from the America’s Center to enjoy a nice lunch downtown from the arch grounds to the City Garden or even Kiener plaza.  Bringing breakfast and lunch is easy, and that leaves more in the budget for that great ZamZuu polo you’ve got your eye on and a fabulous dinner at a great downtown restaurant.
