Marketing Advice For YTB Zam Zuu Reps

From Circle of Champions member Julieta St. John comes the following advice. Actually the statistics are accurate from what I have heard, but 30 contacts seems a bit much to me. But then again, maybe that is what it takes to be one of Coach's 10,000 millionaires. But follow this advice and you will become rich--or more likely friendless.  Remember never stop pitching YTB and ZamZuu until they buy or die!
Read this and then think about how many prospects you have missed out on...

Ask Again, and Again, and Again
As business owners, we can never be good enough at following up with prospects.
Refuse to complain about failure until you have a multi-step follow up sequence of 7 to 30 contacts (email, mail, telephone, etc) with everyone who comes into contact with your business as a potential broker.

When people do this, they tend to make more money from increased sales; they just shrug off the "no's" and stop talking about it.

As business owners, we cannot afford to make the big, costly mistake of not following up with a prospect.

Check out these scary statistics:
48% of sales people never follow up with a prospect.
25% of sales people make a second contact and stop.
12% of sales people only make three contacts and stop.
Only, 10% of businesses make more than three contacts. This means they're losing a small fortune.

Because...
2% of sales are made on the first contact.
3% of sales are made on the second contact.
5% of sales are made on the third contact.
10% of sales are made on the fourth contact.
80% of sales are made on the fifth to twelfth contact.

Now MAKE SURE you are giving your prospects NEW information every time you follow up - a new testimonial, benefits of owning a home-based business, a great deal on your website, etc.
DON'T just keep asking them if they have their money - if they have not made a decision, you need to keep "dripping" on them with new information.
The golden rule in marketing that will make you wealthy is once you have someone's details keep on following up until they buy, die, or tell you to stop!
