UPDATE 2 : 8:03pm April 4, 2009. It has been confirmed that Bill Hoffman did indeed leave YTB. His website www.billhoffmann.com is still up and references YTB, but his RTA site is down and several sources have confirmed he has switched MLMs and is now with ViSalus. Kent McLaughlin has also been confirmed as leaving for ViSalus.
UPDATE 8:25PM: There have been conflicting reports of the departing directors names. At this point, it is unsure if Bill Hoffman, PJ Jensen, and Kent McLaughlin are leaving. When we find out for sure, we will update.
Over the past few weeks we have heard rumblings of a mass exodus of YTB Directors. Some unconfirmed names were mentioned but now it appears that three of them have made it public. We are hearing that
PJ Jensen, Bill Hoffman, and Kent McLaughlin have fled the grips of YTB to greener pastures.
It was just a few weeks ago that
Ron and Phyllis Bush departed YTB and apparently they are very happy in the new MLM home with
ViSalus. It was rumored that ViSalus was paying big guaranteed dollars for directors to bring their teams.
We don't know if
PJ, Bill, or Kent will be going there but we do know that
PJ and Bill are two of the top money earners EVER in YTB. We are not sure of their current director "level" but it is believed that both Bill and
PJ are at least Level 5 which could represent a loss of 50,000 people to YTB. It is difficult to determine how many are reps and how many are RTAs.
Both
PJ and Bill have been featured on numerous YTB marketing videos--
PJ is the one on the speedboat with his kids and Bill is usually on the phone in his luxury car. We have heard that several other well known directors are leaving as well, but we cannot confirm that at this point.
Can YTB hold it together with this kind of news?
