If you look around on the internet you can find dozens of YTB blogs that comment about Donald Trump. Many a YTBer will claim that The Donald himself loves network marketing. Plenty of YTB people have photos of the Donald on their website, smiling down upon them.
The MLM travel crowd claims that the internet is the wave of the future, and that the Donald agrees with them.
So, then can someone explain to my why Donald Trump’s travel site, GoTrump.com , is now out of business?
Interesting isn’t it? I mean, here you have dozens of YTB blogs with The Donald’s face plastered all over it. So why is The Donald’s site gone? And when Donald started GoTrump.com., why didn’t he make it a travel MLM?
YTB claims to be well on their way to travel industry domination. Donald Trump’s site said “There’s nobody better. There’s nobody even close.” So, where is it now? If Donald is really the big fan of the MLM industry, why wasn’t GoTrump.com a MLM? It seems that hundreds of people would have signed up just to get use of the Trump name. Shouldn’t a master marketer like The Donald have known that?
So why is everyone in YTB so proud to claim to be endorsed by someone who failed in travel in less than two years?
Given the lawsuits, the vendors that have dropped YTB, and all the other integrity issues that YTB has had, I think the best piece of advice that YTB could take from The Donald is this one, which I found posted on a YTB blog.
“The biggest risk we face is not moving forward with what we have learned.”
